Julia has been District Manager for East Anglia Jobcentre Plus since June 2012 leading approximately 1,000 colleagues across 26 Jobcentres and one Contact Centre to deliver Working Age benefits to customers living in Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.
Julia is proud to have been a Princes Trust ambassador for over 20 years and was very honoured to be awarded an OBE in the Queens New Year’s Honour List 2017 for services to tackling youth unemployment in East Anglia and was also awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of East Anglia in October 2019.
