What can you expect at our BIG networking event? You’ll have the opportunity to network with fellow entrepreneurs in small breakout rooms and be in with a chance to pitch your business to hundreds of small business owners.
Speaker Information:
Our guest speaker is Francesca Abery, Managing Director of Something to Look Forward To, a charity dedicated to providing experiences and gifts for people impacted by cancer.
The charity was founded by Francesca’s mum, Fiona Coldron, who sadly died in 2021. Fiona had first-hand experience of living with cancer and the significant impact it can have on household finances.
At a time when Fiona desperately needed a meal out or experience to lift her spirits, the cost of hospital travel, parking, and prescriptions, whilst having to live on statutory sick pay, made it impossible to afford anything but necessities. Fiona knew the importance of having ‘Something To Look Forward To’ and, together with her family, she made it her life’s mission to help others.
In 2022, Something To Look Forward To won two FSB awards for its work. Francesca will share her experience of how an unshakeable determination and motivation can help an organisation transform its vision into a reality.
