Event details
Many small businesses are unsure of where to start with making sure their businesses are safe online, and customer retention is another area which is key for small businesses in ensuring success.
In the digital age, cybersecurity is a fundamental aspect of any business operation. Despite its critical nature, many businesses still perceive it as solely an IT issue. This mindset is outdated and can be dangerous. Cybersecurity is not just for IT teams – it’s a business-wide concern, needing involvement from all within a business if security breaches are to be avoided.
This event will consider this organisation wide approach. We will also look at customer retention, and discuss some key improvements many businesses can make.
There will also be ample opportunity for attendees to network and make new contacts.
Enjoy tea & coffee served alongside delicious breakfast pastries, whilst engaging within meaningful conversations.
Both FSB members and non-members are welcome to attend.
Speaker Information
At this event we are pleased to welcome two guest speakers.
Joining us from The Cyber Innovation Hub (CIH), we are excited to welcome Andy Dodge, Partnerships & Business Manager, to this event. Andy is on a mission to transform South Wales into a leading cyber security cluster by the end of the decade.
He will highlight the importance of the involvement from all within a business and identify the simple steps small businesses can take to improve their online security.
We are also delighted to be able to welcome Miles Courtney-Thomas, co-founder of Customer Start, as a guest speaker at this event.
