Hannah Thomas - Markel Law

Hannah specialises in Employment Law and has acted for both employers and employees in contentious and non-contentious Employment Law matters, including Tribunal work and drafting contracts and handbooks for employers. Hannah provides advice to businesses and HR professionals on all aspects of employment law.

Sam Bonser - Director of HR, Federation of Small Businesses

Sam has been with FSB for nearly 12 years and is our Director of HR. She has over 20 years of generalist experience in HR and is a Fellow of the CIPD. Sam manages FSB's internal HR team as well as having oversight of Governance, Data Protection and Contracts. 

Rebecca Thomas - Head of Employment Policy, Equality and Human Rights Commission

Rebecca Thomas leads on employment policy for the Equality and Human Rights Commission which, as Britain’s national equality body and ‘A’ status National Human Rights Institute, is responsible for safeguarding human rights and enforcing the Equality Act 2010. During her time at the EHRC, Rebecca has worked extensively with a range of government departments, regulators, public bodies and the private sector, providing insight and advice to help them understand and fulfil their obligations under equality and human rights law. She oversees the EHRC’s work on the sexual harassment preventative duty and is currently leading the EHRC’s engagement on the Employment Rights Bill.
