CALLING ALL TRAINING & SKILLS PROVIDERS IN CORNWALL & ISLES OF SCILLY
Following our appointment by the Department of Education, FSB in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly are commencing research for the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) and we are inviting all training and skills providers to play a part.
This Department for Education initiative is our collective chance to review and realign the supply and demand for skills across our area. This plan is required to be employer-led, so that anyone involved in sourcing, recruiting and training staff on any scale will be invited to give evidence and make suggestions. However, to deliver a genuinely improved service, those of you actually providing training services need to tell us about the issues that you face.
We want to know about what you are currently seeing and what will make things better to deliver skills training to meet the needs of employers and employees in our key sectors. We will also be looking at cross cutting themes across all sectors and how we get our workforce truly work ready. You are in the thick of it and we can't do this successfully without YOU!
There will be a range of ways you'll be able to give us your input between now and May 2023, when the project culminates in the final report, so please keep an eye out for more updates coming soon. In the meantime...
This first meeting is to directly open the dialogue with you and we are looking for your influence in this vital project, so please attend this first meeting to hear more and help us shape the course of this work. Book your free place and we look forward to meeting you.
