Bare Native have also embarked on a partnership with Canterbury Christ Church University on further research. Abigail will speak about her journey and how business owners can work with universities to further develop their business and development.

Emily Eyre
Director of Hub Catering Ltd.
Emily has an established career in the retail & hospitality sector. She began working for an international fashion brand before moving into the challenge of being a small business owner. She commenced a deli and cafe operation at the age of 22 with the ambition of providing high-quality food and service to the local Swale community. The business won various small business awards which then led to Emily being invited to No.10 Downing Street as part of a Young Entrepreneurs’ recognition event - meeting the then Prime Minster Gordon Brown.
By 2008 Emily had acquired the tenancy at Kent Science Park for the on-site catering provision. Driven to explore new markets and innovate customer service at scale to a diverse range of clients, she set about undertaking customer consultation to ensure she delivered a catering experience that maximised repeat business.
In 2018 Kent Science Park invested in a new one-million-pound HUB building at the heart of the Park. With much larger dining facilities, meeting and conference rooms, all overlooking the tranquil gardens. After reflecting on this as a new era in the possibilities for the provision of services at the Park, Emily undertook a full re-brand of her business and lunched HUB Catering Limited. New premises and so much additional space allowed HUB Catering the scope to expand into event management. Creating many social and corporate events. She enjoys the vibrancy that bringing people together in a work context can provide to the success of the businesses at the Park.

Bare Native is creating a new kind of business – one which changes our planet positively using nature to help heal us, and the world we live in. Founded in 2018 by Abigail Gibson, Bare Native created and developed a unique natural composition. This composition is derived purely from mineral material.
