This is a regular opportunity to bring together business owners with any form of physical or mental health issues to network together, advise each other and build up contacts across the whole of the UK.
The monthly online networking session will feature a short 10 minute talk by a speaker with a health issue - or someone who is an advocate for those with a disability - before we go into breakout rooms so attendees can network with one another in a friendly and supportive environment.
This month's guest speaker is Tabitha Dorlin-Barlow, Clinical Hypnotherapist. Tabitha will be discussing the seriousness of mental health in the UK today, showing facts and statistics that not enough is being done currently, the Solution focused hypnotherapy approach to how the brain reacts to stress and what we can do about it, and also dispel some myths about hypnosis, and who it can help.
28 years old from Southport, Tabitha has been traveling for the past few years and is now pursuing a career in Hypnotherapy. She has a diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, a degree in Occupational Therapy and is a member of Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapists and National Council for Hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy has helped her learn coping skills for dealing with her chronic condition. Tabitha has developed a resilience workshop and hypnotherapy groups where she hopes to empower people to take back control of their mental health.
These virtual networking meetings are part of the FSB's ongoing Business Without Barriers campaign which aims to encourage inclusive, supportive workplaces and offer advice for the country's army of disabled entrepreneurs.
