Be the voice of small business in your Local Skills Improvement Plan.

The Essex Chambers of Commerce have been selected by the Department for Education as the lead Employer Representative Body (ERB) to deliver the county’s Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP). An LSIP is a government-funded programme designed to bring together businesses and education providers to discuss the skills needed now and for the future.

Organisations, particularly small businesses, will be given a much stronger voice in local skills planning with colleges, universities, and other training providers. Therefore, Essex Chambers of Commerce want to hear from as many local employers as possible to help them develop a plan which makes a difference.

The Federation of Small Businesses are delighted to be working in partnership with Essex Chambers of Commerce to ensure that the voice of small businesses is heard. Open to FSB membes and non-members, this one hour round-table will allow you to discuss what skills are needed in your sector and how we can increase collaboration between businesses/education/training providers.
