Our hugely successful FSB Business Bootcamp series comes to North Lanarkshire for the first time and is packed full of hands-on workshops from leading local businesses to help you build value into your small business. You’ll get the best advice on sales and marketing, making your business profitable and making the most of social media - all targeted for you and your small business.

There’s no need to be an FSB member to attend, we welcome all small business owners and self-employed people. This is a great opportunity to take part in the FSB community and of course find out more about FSB benefits.

Natalie Hughes - Director of Business Development Royal Bank of Scotland

Natalie spearheads initiatives to drive growth and enhance the bank’s market presence. With over 16 years’ experience in the financial services industry, she has a track record in building strategic partnerships, cultivating client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.

Natalie leads a team of Business Development Managers who are highly experienced in assessing underlying business cases and strategies of customers, working closely with our specialist sector relationship managers who provide insights and specifics for a range of sectors including leisure, trading, real estate, healthcare, professional services, and manufacturing. This combined expertise means they can identify and structure the most suitable financial solutions for your customers, helping both their businesses and your business grow. 

Alistair Wood - Regional Director for the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland for Tyl by NatWest

Alistair runs a team of 12 highly experienced Business Development Managers across the Region with a focus on making customers’ payment facilities simpler to use and more cost effective.  Alistair’s team also work closely with the Bank in their local markets to ensure a broad range of solutions are available when required.  Tyl follows the NatWest’s aspirations to help people, families and businesses thrive by always being there.

Jayne Lasley - Founder of Fairlie Curved

Jayne Lasley is the innovative founder of Fairlie Curved, a fashion brand dedicated to designing stylish, well-fitting clothing for women with larger busts. Motivated by her own struggles to find flattering attire, Jayne launched Fairlie Curved to fill a significant gap in the fashion industry. Her brand quickly gained recognition for its commitment to body positivity and inclusivity. With a keen eye for design and a passion for empowering women, Jayne has transformed the shopping experience for many, offering chic and comfortable options that celebrate diverse body shapes. She continues to inspire with her dedication to fashion and inclusivity. 

Paul Beveridge - Founder of Ramen Dayo

Paul Beveridge is the founder of Ramen Dayo, Glasgow’s pioneering ramen restaurant. After 12 years in Tokyo, Beveridge brought his love for authentic Japanese ramen back to Scotland, launching Ramen Dayo in 2016 from a handmade yatai food cart. His dedication to traditional ramen-making methods quickly garnered acclaim, leading to the establishment of multiple venues in Glasgow, including popular spots in Ashton Lane and Finnieston. Beveridge's passion for authenticity and quality has cemented Ramen Dayo as a beloved fixture in the city’s vibrant food scene.

Craig & Kasia Neilson - Founders of Fayre Play

Craig & Kasia Neilson are the driving force behind several successful ventures, including award-winning Fore Play Crazy Golf and Fayre Play, two innovative experiential bars that have redefined entertainment in Scotland. He is also the co-founder of Sip and Bark, a unique dog cafe concept, and Lift Off, a dedicated food and drink marketing and PR agency. Natural communicators and thought leaders, Craig and Kasia regularly share their insights through industry publications and at events. They have been members of the FSB since 2019 and actively contribute to the entrepreneurial ecosystem within Scotland.

Guy Hinks - Guy Hinks Photographer

Award-winning Professional Photographer since 2008 specialising in people photography from eye-catching PRPortraits, to Business Portraits to striking Headshots. Guy has photographed the higher echelons of Society from the Highest Law Lord in the UK, Royalty tothe famous such as Billy Connelly. Guy has worked throughout the UK and Europe and is based in the West of Scotland. Guy prides himself on putting folk atease, focussing on detail and creating striking images. 

Alex Fraser - Founder of Unite Fitness, Glasgow

Her mission is to empower people to make time for movement. Unite Fitness in Glasgow offers a variety of workout options including Strength Training, HIIT workouts, Animal Flow and Aerial Yoga. The facility features modern equipment and certified trainers who provide personalised coaching and nutrition advice. Emphasising community, it fosters a supportive environment with group classes and activities. Running her own business and training people at Unite Fitness since 2018, Alex believes that with a compassionate approach, we can create harmony between our busy lives and well-being.

Christopher Graham - Founder of The Marketing Department

Chris is a seasoned marketing professional with over 15 years of experience, specializing in building brands suited for the digital era. Before founding TMD in 2015, he worked for Scottish Renewables, where he was deeply involved in promoting the burgeoning renewable energy sector. His enthusiasm for net zero technologies has since seen him deliver complex and multifaceted campaigns for TMD’s international client base. Chris was on the board of Stepping Stones for Families, a charity that The Marketing Department rebranded in 2017. He join the board after the rebrand, was elected chair in January 2020, and stepped down in November 2023

Watt Nicoll MP

Watt Nicoll MP is a highly regarded motivational speaker, humourist, writer and presenter. Voted “Best Motivational Speaker in the World” by his peer group in Reno, Nevada in 1997, he has by his own admission improved greatly since then! With persistence and determination, he has developed a process of self-education and awareness, which has distinguished him as a world class resource for the development of human potential. All who meet and work with Watt Nicoll understand why he styles himself ‘MP’ because they will have experienced for themselves a MOTIVATED PERSON.
