Get ready for the year ahead with this day-long event, connecting entrepreneurs and small business owners from across the Midlands to kick off the new year with focus and ambition. Open to all, not just FSB members, it’s a great chance to experience the FSB community.

After a sell-out in 2024, we’re back at The Woodlands on the Leicestershire/Northamptonshire border. Enjoy practical talks, a magical setting, outstanding refreshments—including a two-course lunch and smoothie station—and network around the Tipi fire with marshmallows.

9:30-3pm Bootcamp: Enjoy interactive sessions with likeminded business owners, to get inspired, informed and prepared for a great year ahead. Included: 2-course lunch plus networking and refreshment breaks throughout the day.

Jennifer manages the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) across Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, and Rutland, supporting 4,500 members, organizing events like Bootcamp, and holding board positions to represent SMEs locally. FSB provides essential business services and advocates for fairness on key issues like tax and regulation for 150,000 members and the wider small business community. Passionate about helping small businesses thrive, Jennifer encourages members to volunteer, share expertise, and act as ambassadors for the small business community.

Alastair has 25 years’ experience in business leadership roles and now runs Business Doctors in Northamptonshire.

Campbell uses his years of experience as a sales leader to help businesses deliver more sales and increase their profitability. Rupert and Angela Turton - ActionCOACH Oakham & Kettering 
Rupert and Angela have been providing business coaching for over five years and during that time have supported 100+ local businesses through one-to-one coaching, group coaching, strategy days, team alignment, planning days, and interactive workshops.
Before you invest in marketing and selling your product or service, your business needs to have the foundations in place to ensure you can deliver and retain your customer.  Angela and Rupert will explain how you get the biggest impact from your cash, ensure your clients buy from you time and time again, and focus your efforts to best effect.

Panel and roving mic: Tips for getting your Body and Mind ready to drive your business 
A panel of member experts as well as interactive discussion on your tables, sharing advice on how to make sure you're looking after your health and wellbeing to keep energised and ready for the year ahead. Including tips on nutrition, habits and hacks, physcial fitness, and mental health and resilience. 

A resilience warrior for your corner of the world
Dr Mish has always had an interest in the resilience, wellbeing, and self-care of others, so much so that she's built her business around it! She's particularly interested in women wellbeing entrepreneurs who want to 'hack the juggle' of life and work and be resilient in both. Dr Mish has worked across several roles within the helping professions since the late 1990's, she became a psychotherapist in 2008 and more recently added coaching to her skills. She runs a successful therapy, coaching and consultation practice in Kibworth, Leicestershire.
