Join us for networking and some presentations at The Foundry

We’re delighted to launch this first event as part of a series of free in-person FSB events at The Foundry, Poole.  Everyone is welcome whether an FSB member or non-member.  The session will include both opportunities to network and presentations focusing on local information and topics of interest.

We’re starting with a talk from FSB’s Tim Colman, who has been instrumental in achieving the ‘Procurement Act’ that came into being from October 2023.

Tim Colman is a Procurement Consultant and has run his own Procurement consultancy for 20 years. For 12 years he was the FSB National Procurement Spokesman and currently sits of the Cabinet Office SME Procurement Panel. He was directly involved in the development of the new Procurement Act which will help any small businesses who want to supply Public Sector clients.

Tim will explain the key aspects of the Procurement Act as well as how the "Young Reforms" have helped over the past few years.

Nicky Kildunne, FSB Development Manager for Dorset will also tell you about grants, funding and business support opportunities available to businesses based in the BCP council area.
