Margaret McCloskey, MaPS NI Partnership Manager

Many people face uncertainty when it comes to financial wellbeing, as they struggle to keep up with bills and payment commitments, in addition to unexpected bills such as a car breaking down or house appliance needing replaced. 71% of adults receive unexpected bills every year and it could mean costly short-term credit, if there is not enough in savings. It could also tilt people into a debt crisis. #TalkMoneyWeek is a good opportunity for everyone to reflect on their current situation and FSB Northern Ireland are delighted to welcome MaPS to share some knowledge in this support webinar.

The Money & Pension Service (MaPS), an arm’s length body of the DWP, will share how they can help businesses introduce free and impartial information and guidance on pensions and money issues, that could perhaps be blended and shaped into your internal procedures, to help support employees. MaPS can also equip your mental health first aiders and senior personnel with resources to nudge employees towards.

The event will be hosted by Roisin McAliskey, FSB NI Development Manager.
