Grow your network and learn how to convert more leads to customers.

In the latest in our series of networking sessions with BIPC Norfolk, we’re joined by Stephen Blackwell who heads up Gifted Norwich. This new charity initiative aims to connect businesses and the community whilst raising money for charity - and setting a new Guiness World Record!

Gifted Norwich is a new community interest company (CIC) hosting a massive, first-of-its-kind world record attempt for the most people exchanging gifts in person. This aims to spark community spirit with an exciting social experience - one that brings together businesses, artists, crafters, and the public as 'gifters.'

Stephen will explain more about what the event entails, what you can do to get involved, as well as sharing his story about setting up a Community Interest Company.

And of course, there’ll be time for networking and a chance to speak to us about the support both FSB and BIPC Norfolk provide.

About Stephen Blackwell, Director, High Steet Safari & Gifted Norwich

Stephen Blackwell is the director of a digital trail company called High Street Safari. Over the past three years, they have expanded to provide 500+ global locations with augmented reality trails, the latest of which is a collaboration with Penguin on an Elmer Christmas trail. The High Street Safari team has now also started Gifted Norwich as a CIC, hoping to use their flair for creating fun experiences with a new kind of event that creates real connections across communities.

About Gifted Norwich

Gifted Norwich tackles two of the country’s biggest issues - the cost-of-living crisis, and the deterioration of social connection. To this end, it doesn't have to cost a penny to take part when gifting simple acts of kindness and it will create new bonds in the community when gifters swap stories as well as gifts. Businesses can gift physical products, services or gift cards; artists and crafters can gift handmade items.

Participants can add their gifts to the online platform before the big live exchange at The Forum, Norwich, on Saturday 12 October.

Please note that bookings will strictly close at 9:30am on 18th July. Advanced booking is advised to avoid disapointment.

To enable FSB to deliver a high level of customer service at our events, and to tailor the content where appropriate, we will share your full name and business name with the host of the event you have registered to attend. The event hosts are representatives of FSB who irretrievably delete your details following the event.  Should you not consent your full name and business name being shared with the event host, please contact [email protected] within three working days of the event taking place, with details of the event.
