Join us at this face-to-face #FSBConnect networking meeting for a festive catch-up with other small businesses. This session will provide a great opportunity to discuss positive initiatives and explore useful connections for the future.

This is a chance for people to come together and get to know each other better or to make new contacts. The meeting will be hosted by local FSB Development Manager, Roisin McAliskey, who welcomes FSB members and non-members to join this festive meeting. New FSB members are especially welcome.

Guest Speaker

Orla McKeating, Business Development Executive at Diversity Mark

Our guest speaker will be Orla McKeating who will give us an intro to the importance of EDI in the workplace for small businesses and some good practice points. Orla is the Business Development Executive at Diversity Mark – an awarding authority on diversity and inclusion across the UK and Ireland accrediting more than 150 businesses and close to 200,000 employees.

Orla’s commitment to creating diverse and inclusive spaces is evident in her impactful work including founding Still I Rise Diversity Storytelling which offers learning through story sessions and workshops for children and young people and training for adults and educators on issues typically not addressed in story books including Race issues, Neuro Diversity, Gender Identity, LGBTQ+ issues, Disabilities, Diverse Families, Immigration and more.

She is an international speaker specialising in race issues, stigma, equality and inclusion. Orla has delivered two TEDx talks on Race Issues and the Stigma of Single Parenting (Stormont, 2019) and The 3 Pillars of Privilege (Enniskillen, 2022).

Her mission is to create spaces where all people feel seen, heard, valued and supported.
