Event details
Join us at this networking event this September as part of our 50th Celebrations, that will provide the opportunity for you to meet and expand your network with other business owners and managers in your area, in the unusual and fascinating setting of Metal Seagulls production unit at Haverfordwest Airport.
Both FSB members and non-members are welcome to attend.
Host Information
Metal Seagulls lead the way in light aircraft e-ready airframe concepts. From its base in West Wales, and with an enduring passion for all things aviation, Metal Seagulls links in with major brands across the world, providing specialist parts and services.
The business has developed an extensive in-house product range, including 3-D printed specialist parts, aluminium and composite components, and both software and hardware for flight testing. With an impressive technical capability, the business also supports a range of activity in other sectors in the area and further field.
Founded by Patricia Mawuli Porter OBE (workshops, servicing, production) and Jonathan Porter (operations and design), Patricia became the first civilian female to earn a pilot licence in Ghana, the first woman worldwide to be factory trained by Rotax Aircraft Engines and ULPOWER Aero Engines, as well as being the first black female aircraft inspector for the LAA and the same for the BMAA.
