What is the BIPC?
The Business and IP Centre (BIPC) Southampton is an enterprise hub; a dedicated space to help entrepreneurs start or grow, their businesses, projects or ideas. It was formed in partnership with Southampton City Council and The British Library in 2022. It is on the first floor of Southampton Central Library.
The session will include:
- Networking with other business owners.
- An introduction to podcasting with Zoe Hanson (The Podcast Lady), plus a look at the equipment available to use.
- Demonstration of the free databases available, covering intellectual property, market research and grant funding.
- Free headshots and demonstration of photographic equipment available.
How to get there
There is public parking close by, such as NCP Car Park, Grosvenor Square Car Parks, Marlands Car Park and West Quay Car Park. There are also Blue Badge parking bays on nearby streets, you can find more information here. Southampton Central Library is a short walk from Southampton Central Station and the coach station, and there are several bus routes with stops nearby.
