Doug Johnson is the Director and Founder of Mesh Energy and has almost 20 years of experience across a wide range of low energy building solutions and sustainable energy technologies.

He has worked on projects from £250K to £50M across a wide-range of sectors. His speciality is offering bespoke, holistic solutions working closely with clients, businesses and their architects at each stage of the project to achieve buildings and appropriate technology solutions fit for today and well into the future.

Mike is a world-renowned expert on risk, crisis and disaster management, and has worked in this field in more than 60 countries. Prior to co-founding The Sustainability Group, Mike was Executive Director of Unicef UK, CEO of Action contre la Faim in Paris and Global Humanitarian Director at Save the Children. As a former advisor to the FTSE on their ESG trading index (FTSE4Good), he works with a number of investment firms and family offices on matching social and environmental impact with high return investment strategies

Clare Sharp

Clare Sharp.  Berkshire Local Enterprise Partnership

Clare Sharp leads the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) programme as Project Manager at Berkshire Local Enterprise Partnership. This £380m initiative aims to deliver 6,500 on-street EV chargers across Berkshire, promoting equitable access to low-power and low-carbon transport. Previously, as Net Zero Programme Manager at Virgin Media O2, Clare drove a 45% reduction in UK GHG emissions and expanded the electric fleet to 281 vehicles.  With experience bridging corporate sustainability and public infrastructure, Clare is well-positioned to navigate the evolving landscape of transport electrification and energy systems locally and nationally.

James Amar
James Amar 

James is a third-generation leader at RH Amar, a leading UK full-service distributor of ambient grocery products. Joining the family business in 2013, he was appointed to the Board in 2020, taking charge of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, "Doing Business Better". With a portfolio featuring renowned brands like Del Monte, Mutti, and Ella's Kitchen, James will share some of the tried and tested ideas from their business that have a positive impact on profitability as well as planet, people, and communities.
