What to expect

The theme of this year’s event is ‘International Wales’, aiming to highlight the global reach of Welsh small businesses and the important role they play in contributing to a thriving Welsh economy, alongside putting Wales on the world stage.

Our keynote speaker, Stephen Davies, Chief Executive Officer of Penderyn Whisky, is an experienced business leader and he will be sharing his insights and, of course, the story of how Penderyn has successfully grown to become an internationally-recognised name and a Welsh business success story.

Stephen Davies, Penderyn

Stephen Davies is the Chief Executive of Penderyn Whisky, an internationally renowned Welsh business producing award-winning whisky. Stephen has been leading Penderyn since 2005, overseeing the running of the business in all its aspects, and driving its success.

Under his leadership, Penderyn has become a leading producer of Welsh whisky, expanding its reach globally and winning numerous awards for its unique and distinctive spirits. Stephen is deeply committed to the distillery and the spirits industry, and his passion and expertise are evident in the success of the business. Join us as he shares his insights on leadership and business, and learn how Penderyn has become an iconic Welsh brand with a global reputation.

Tickets are available at a cost of £70 per person. Tables of 10 are also available for purchase. The ticket price includes the drinks reception commencing at 6.30pm followed by the three course dinner from 7pm, all held within the premier venue of Portland House, Cardiff Bay.

Free parking is available on Bute Street, venue is fully accessible.
