An opportunity for an update and Q&A on devolution and the new North Yorkshire Council, and what it means for your business.

York & North Yorkshire Matters - North Yorks Talks

At an exciting time for York & North Yorkshire we want small businesses to engage with policy makers and be updated on new developments as we move towards a Mayoral combined authority in York & North Yorkshire. This event is an opportunity to hear directly from decision makers about the direction this is taking and what it might mean for your business, and the local area.

James Farrar Chief Operating Officer of the York & North Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership will give an update of progress towards York & North Yorkshire devolution and changes to the Local Enterprise Partnership and Growth Hub, followed by Dave Caulfield, Assistant Director of Economic Development at the new North Yorkshire Council who will update on their new organisation and economic strategy.

This is an important event with our key stakeholders, in order to have an open conversation about the challenges and opportunities for the new organisations, and how business fits in to their plans. Both James and Dave work closely alongside FSB but we want businesses to hear directly from them both and have the opportunity of a comprehensive update and chance to ask questions.

Your Zoom joining link will be sent in your confirmation email so do not discard this. The link can also be found in the 'My Events' section on the FSB website. For help and support regarding this event, please telephone our dedicated events helpline 01253 336028 or email [email protected]

This event is free to attend.

To enable FSB to deliver a high level of customer service at our events, and to tailor the content where appropriate, we will share your full name and business name with the host of the event you have registered to attend. The event hosts are representatives of FSB who irretrievably delete your details following the event. Should you not consent your full name and business name being shared with the event host, please contact [email protected] within three working days of the event taking place, with details of the event.
