• Family matters: assistance with family-related issues such as relationships, adoption, and childcare. 
• Mental health: Support to help manage stress and address a range of mental health issues. 
• Illness and bereavement: EAPs play a crucial role in aiding employees recovering the aftermath of traumatic events, such as accidents, diagnosis or the loss of a loved one. 

Although EAPs aren’t a legal requirement, offering a healthcare package will make your small business more attractive to potential job applicants and current staff.
