Events coming up this month in Dorset:

2 June 2023 9:30-10:30am: Dorset and BCP Virtual Networking: this will be the last dedicated Dorset and BCP Virtual Networking; from July it will be absorbed into the bi-monthly Hampshire and Isle of Wight networking, providing the opportunity to meet more people.

8 June 2023: B2B Expo Bournemouth, Vitality Stadium. Register for free.

14 June 2023 10:30-11:30am: South West Women in Business Networking: a friendly regular networking session aimed at women in business in the South West (Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire, Devon, Cornwall, Gloucestershire, Bristol) but open to all.

29 June 2023 5:30-7pm: Member Meet Up: Christchurch, Dorset: this in person networking event is an opportunity to meet with other FSB members in the Dorset area. This will be hosted at Two Rivers Refill Zero Waste Shop in Christchurch and host Kate will be sharing how a zero-waste retail business operates. This is one of a series of in person networking events held at FSB member premises.

Exploring funding for growth: 

  • 21 June – 9.30am to 11.30am 
  • Join Evolve for a half day workshop which will explore ways of funding growth, including securing equity funding, debt and bank borrowing.  Hear from financial and legal experts, plus business owners who have their own individual experiences.  This session is for business owners and directors of Dorset based companies who would like to explore financial options for growth.  The session is relevant for businesses irrespective of their maturity – i.e., ambitious start up to long-established family business. 

 

Events coming up this month in Hampshire and Isle of Wight: 
This is a fortnightly virtual networking session aimed at businesses in the Hampshire and Isle of Wight areas but open to all.

20 June 2023 10:30-11:30am: South Central Women in Business Virtual Networking: a friendly regular networking session aimed at women in business in the South Central region (Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Thames Valley) but open to all.

Eat the Island -  an exclusive food and drink industry networking opportunity

  • Hosted by The Queens Hotel, Southsea - Thursday 8 June 3-6pm
  • Eat the Island is a free networking event being organised by Portsmouth City Council, Hampshire Fare and the Queens Hotel. The aim is to bring together local businesses to inspire each other, create opportunities to work together and celebrate the area’s vibrant food and drink culture.
