The high-profile FSB ‘Celebrating Small Business Awards’ are free to enter and open to all, (FSB members and non-members). The deadline for applications is fast approaching though, with a closing date of Sunday 11 February.
Ann Scott, Development Manager (Essex) at FSB, said: “The FSB Awards is an amazing chance to network, be recognised, and gain exposure. So don’t miss your chance to put your business in the spotlight”.
She continued: “There are 5.5 million small businesses who employ 16.7 million people in the UK. They really are the backbone of our economy and at the heart of our communities. They embody the creativity and resilience that fuels the East of England’s prosperity but many have faced an incredibly tough economic climate over the last few years. It’s therefore important to not just recognise, but celebrate, their achievements and contributions with the FSB Awards”.
From start-ups to sustainability, there should be a category for everyone:
- Sustainability award
- Micro business award
- Start-up business award
- Family business awards
- Young entrepreneur award
- Community award
- Innovation award
- Self-employed/freelancer award
- Expansion and Growth award
- Diversity and inclusion award
- Service Excellence award
- New for 2024: Franchise Business Award
Regional winners will be announced at the start of March with local networking events taking place to celebrate those shortlisted for the UK Final. Blackpool's iconic Winter Gardens is then host to the UK Final in May, where all shortlisted will get a free ticket to attend.
For your chance to win an FSB Award, apply online, for free, before Sunday 11 February. Your business must have fewer than 250 full time equivalent employees and be based (or have your head office) in Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire or Cambridgeshire to enter the East of England Awards.
