Flood support available for storm-hit businesses

Gloucester and Tewkesbury areas given dedicated business and home support.

Storm Henk caused a lot of flooding for businesses throughout the UK with some of the worst areas affected in this region being Tewkesbury and Gloucester .

If your business (or home) has been affected there is support now available and for those two worst hit area – Tewkesbury and Gloucester – both councils have dedicated webpages explaining all the support at hand.  

Gloucester City Council are now administering their Government-backed community grants scheme which offers up to £2500 for eligible businesses and £500 per eligible household with council tax help also on offer. For info see here.

Tewkesbury Borough Council are also offering up to £2500 per business and £500 per home as part of that Government scheme and full details of how to apply if you are in that district can be found at here.

If you are outside of these areas but have also been affected by the storm you can find out full details about the scheme as a whole here and you should then contact your council for more information.
