Benefits and barriers to export

Hyndburn's Eco Fest

At The Broadway, Accrington on Saturday 8th June, from 10am to 3pm be involved with your local community, with a wide range of different activities, there will be fun for all. Building your business in the EU

From DBT / UK Export Academy on Tuesday 11 June at 2pm join Hillary Rossborough from International Trade Services to uncover how to utilise the UK-EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA) to grow your business. The UK-EU TCA means an agreement on reduced tariffs for UK businesses selling their goods and services moving from the UK to European customers. Launch of the Lancashire Cyber Good Practice Network

Join the launch of the Lancashire Cyber Good Practice Network. Hosted by the University of Central Lancashire. The agenda includes a networking lunch, round table discussions on the current cybersecurity landscape, and the formation of action learning groups. Expressions of interest - Eastern Gateway (Blackpool)

Expresssions of interest are now being sought for developers to build out Area B and Area D on the Eastern Gateway at Blackpool Airport Enterprise Zone. The sites would be most suitable for businesses in advanced manufacturing, food and drink manufacturing and digital sectors. Potential unit sizes across the site range from 15,000 sqft to 75,000 sqft. This consultation is about the proposed revised Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing Policy. Before amending the policy, the local authority is consulting widely on what it should contain. Tender opportunity – Bacup Market

Rossendale Borough Council are seeking an operator to manage the new Bacup Market. The market will feature a new two-storey state-of-the-art market hall, a complete renovation of stalls and the formation of a central social area. Anyone applying to become the market operator would have to show financial stability and a willingness to invest in the market’s success.
