The Development Bank of Wales has introduced a loan fund to help businesses on their road to decarbonisation with its Green Business Loan Scheme, which offers incentivised funding packages to small businesses.
The Development Bank can help businesses understand and overcome key barriers to becoming greener, such as knowing where and how to invest.
The Green Business Loan Scheme works to directly support and guide businesses to identifying where positive changes can be made to help reduce carbon emissions and to save on future energy bills, and helps businesses with access to fully and part-funded consultancy, discounted fixed interest rates, and patient capital with upfront capital repayment holidays and a loan term linked to project payback.
