Local LEP Action Plan supporting York & North Yorkshire businesses to reach Net Zero

Local News 15 Jun 2023

Join York & North Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) to finalise the design of an Action Plan to support North Yorkshire businesses – part of the Yorkshire Sustainability Week.

As part of York & North Yorkshire’s route map to Carbon Negative, an Action Plan for helping businesses to reach net zero has been created, in collaboration with businesses and business support organisations (including FSB). As part of the development of the action plan, the York & North Yorkshire LEP are running a workshop to give businesses an opportunity to say what they think, whether we've missed anything and how the plan can be improved.

The session is for businesses operating in York and North Yorkshire who have an interest in reducing their energy costs, saving money and becoming more sustainable. Organisations that support businesses are also welcome to attend.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of business support in York & North Yorkshire that can support your business to reduce energy bills, improve energy security and develop your green credentials.

The session will take place on Wednesday 5 July from 9.30am-11.30am at The Enterprise Centre, York St John University, Lord Mayor’s Walk, York, YO31 7EX.
