Amazon and the FSB are delighted to bring you a series of three free events designed to help you protect your business. We know your business is your world, and as our lives become ever more digital, opportunities to explore new markets are growing, however so are threats to your business. The series covers three relevant and contemporary topic areas, accessible and open to all businesses.

For any business owner, generating market share and building your business is of course your focus, but unfortunately unexpected issues such as counterfeiting and illicit business activity can have a devastating impact on your brand, financial stability, and reputation. This could lead to significant loss of business or reputation.

According to the OECD, estimates indicate that imports of counterfeit and pirated goods to the UK accounted for as much as GBP 13.6 billion in 2016 – equivalent to 3% of UK imports of genuine goods. Compared to 2013, this value increased in absolute terms (GBP 9.3 billion in 2013).

This session will focus on how you can protect your brand, intellectual property and your products from impostors and the steps to take should the worst happen.

In this session, we'll cover:

  • Pragmatic and practical assistance to protect your intellectual property rights.
  •  What steps you need to take to avoid counterfeits.
  • Information on how intellectual property rights can be protected, the risks if they are not and how to protect your products within your budget.
  • And should the worse happen… what to do to minimise the damage.
