Visiting the Centre for Digital Innovation (C4DI) to meet with tech companies, and later attending an event hosted by Emma Hardy MP for Young Entrepreneurs in the City. The afternoon event taking place at Bar 55, Whitefriar gate. Startups and aspiring entrepreneurs from the University of Hull and from the Making Changes for Careers programme attended the event to both showcase their businesses and hear from Jonny Reynolds MP on his views.
As outlined by the Hull Story Jonny Reynolds said “it was great to see a real mix of younger people who have real entrepreneurial spirit” He told young entrepreneurs “You are going to live through a time of incredible change and incredible opportunity. “
At the event, our Development Manager also had the opportunity to catch up with Jess Clark of Divine PR – Chair of the Hull Women’s Breakfast Club. Speaking to Emma Hardy after the main event to discuss the opportunities to further inspire women in business and younger talent in the City.
