Working alongside staff the Regional Chair promotes and champions FSB to external stakeholders and audiences, supports our lobbying on issues important to local businesses and supports activity and membership growth within the region. Felixstowe Disability Pride
Taking place on 11th July, Felixstowe Disability Pride takes place along the town’s stunning prom and is focused on celebrating individuals for who they are—not their limitations.
We all know someone affected by a disability, whether physical or hidden. That’s why the organisers would love your support in spreading the word, joining them on the day, and helping them to create an event to remember.
What to Expect:
· A vibrant procession along the Prom, starting at SeaYou and concluding at the Felixstowe Leisure Centre.
· Exhibitions, stalls, and performances highlighting local talent and resources, hosted in and around the Felixstowe Leisure Centre.
· Opportunities to volunteer, sponsor, and engage with our community.

New grants for East Suffolk businesses
East Suffolk Council has released new grants to support small businesses in rural areas to improve their premises, become more energy efficient, or invest in new technology or machinery. These 100% capital grants range between £15,000 and £30,000.

Great Yarmouth Borough Council (GYBC) meeting for business ratepayers
GYBC will be holding its Annual Business Ratepayers meeting via Teams on Thursday, 13 February 2025 at 09:00 to 10:00.
