Businesses in Bristol, Somerset, North East Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Bath and South Gloucestershire have been invited to apply for the next round of 'Scale Up 4 Growth' (S4G) funding administered by the University of the West of England.
SMEs in that area (plus South Wales) can apply for grants to support total project values of £20,000 to £30,000 in order to support their scale up ambitions.
Businesses will have to move quickly – the deadline for applications is 29 February 2024 and all money will have to be spent by the end of June 2024. Successful applicants will receive 50 per cent of their project funding from the UWE Bristol team and will need to provide the remaining 50 per cent.
Eligible SMEs need to have five or more employees and must have ambitions to grow their business, aiming to increase both employee numbers and turnover.
