The annual Surrey Business Expo in Guildford took place in April. One could say that this show has become an institution in Surrey now in it’s 10th year. It is the must attend Expo of the year. FSB Surrey took up their usual stand position and our membership advisor, Derek Carr set up the evening before the event. On Expo day it is an early start for the team working the stand and great to see local volunteers not only giving a hand but recruiting new members as well. In keeping with tradition our FSB stand is a meeting point for both members and non members and is always busy not to mention the area to renew old friendships. Expo closing and time to pack away well not for the local Development Manager, Ray as he heads off for an evening networking event in Reigate. Finally, one person was missing today our dearly beloved Shelagh who sadly passed away earlier this year. By golly for many years this was Shelagh’s Expo. Sadly missed.
