Another London Borough Council pledges to support small businesses
On Thursday 28 September, Waltham Forest Council officially became the latest London Borough Council to become a Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) ‘Local Leadership Partner’ - committed to empower small businesses and self employed to continue to deliver growth, prosperity and jobs in the local area.
We were delighted to be able to see this commitment made in front of an audience attending the Waltham Forest Business Advisory Group meeting which discussed the borough’s Economic Study and emerging Inclusive Growth and Economy Strategy; Doing Business with the Council; Destinations Strategy.
The certificate was signed by FSB’s North London Area Lead - David Clare and Cllr Vicky Ashworth, Portfolio Lead Member for Jobs, Social Inclusion and Equalities at Waltham Forest Council.
